Transparency Statement

Last Updated: April 16, 2026 At YouRouter, we believe in complete transparency about how our service works, how your data is handled, and how we ensure the best possible experience for our users. This document provides detailed insights into our operations, data handling practices, and commitment to user trust.

Service Architecture and Operations

How YouRouter Works

YouRouter operates as an intelligent API aggregator that routes your requests to the most appropriate AI model providers based on your specified criteria. Our service includes:
  • OpenAI-Compatible API: A unified chat-completions interface for many model providers
  • Provider-Native Compatibility: Direct support for request formats such as Anthropic Messages and Google Generate Content
  • Custom Search: Access to Google Custom Search through a dedicated endpoint
  • Automatic and Pinned Routing: Intelligent routing when you omit vendor, or explicit provider selection when you set it

Provider Selection Process

When you make a request through YouRouter:
  1. Request Analysis: We analyze your request parameters and requirements
  2. Provider Matching: We match your needs with available providers based on capabilities, cost, and performance
  3. Route Selection: We route to the most suitable provider that meets your criteria
  4. Response Delivery: We deliver the response while maintaining consistent formatting

Quality Assurance

We maintain service quality through:
  • Real-time Performance Monitoring: Continuous tracking of response times and success rates
  • Error Handling: Automatic failover to alternative providers when issues occur
  • Quality Metrics: Regular assessment of output quality across different providers
